You have acquired the special class machine,
It pays to play the Mini Game, doesn't it?"
- ―Ridge Racer (PSP)
It is manufactured by Namco. The player has to score over 50,000 points and complete the Pro 18 tour in the New Rally-X mini game in order to unlock the machine.
In Ridge Racer 2 (PSP), the Rally-X was replaced by the Danver Hijack. The car is made of 3 dimensional pixels, and when viewed top down looks like the original car from Rally-X. When nitrous is activated the car shows smokescreen in its wake like in Rally-X, however it does not have any effect on opponent cars.
The only fact known about this machine is that it was created by Namco, which has a long 50 year history. Non-standard in all respects, it is supposedly powered by a mysterious engine that has been in use for more than 20 years, allowing the car to accelerate to 350 km/h (217 mph).
In it's specs, it has the original tachometer and speedometer from the original Rally-X, and boasts a whopping 30,000 rpm and possibly, have a 2,200 horsepower engine. Instead, it had only one gear, in which accelaration will be very poor in low RPM. The car has the best handling whild drifting in all of the Special Class vehicles, which makes it a great car for tracks with many corners.
