Gnade Motor Corporation (pronounced: ge-nah-day, Japanese: グナーデ) is a German car manufacturer of high-performance luxury cars introduced in Rage Racer. Gnade is Ridge Racer's take on Audi, although its lore is based on BMW.

According to the lore in Rage Racer, other than luxury vehicles, Gnade was also a manufacturer of aircraft engines, particularly during World War II. Even after the war, where the German economy was hit hard and took long to recover from, especially during the first few years of peacetime, Gnade continued to produce luxury vehicles renowned for their outstanding balance and usability.

    • Post-World War II, however, it is possible that Gnade has ceased production of aircraft engines, similar to BMW.
  • The logo of Gnade resembles an "overlapping number zero" and could be an allusion to both Mercedes Benz's "three-pointed-star-in-a-ring" logo and Audi's "four rings" logo. To some extent, it may also resemble the logo of Lincoln.
  • Gnade is stated to have competed in Real Racing Roots before withdrawing in 1997, according to Ridge Racer Type 4's guidebook.

    • It may also allude to the humorous and competitive print media advertising of Audi, BMW and Mercedes, where they often try to poke fun while getting back at each others' products.
    • The award they won from their TV commercial, the "Golden Crocodile Trophy", is a reference to the Golden Lion, the most prestigious award given to a film at the Venice Film Festival.
